1. Acceptance of these terms
By registering for or using Gokoo Contests, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must review and agree to these terms on your behalf, per Section 2 below.
2. Eligibility and minors
This platform is intended for NEET/JEE aspirants and is free to use. If you are under 18:
- You may only use this platform with a parent or guardian’s knowledge and consent
- Your parent/guardian is responsible for reviewing these terms and our Privacy Policy with you
- We reserve the right to request parental consent verification and to suspend an account if we cannot confirm it
3. What this platform is — and isn’t
- Gokoo Contests is a free, independent practice platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the National Testing Agency (NTA), CBSE, MCC, or any official exam-conducting body.
- Previous Year Question (PYQ) papers made available on this platform are used for educational and practice purposes. We make reasonable efforts to attribute the source, year, and exam of each question.
- Scores, rankings, and results on this platform are for practice and self-assessment only and are not official results of any kind.
4. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account
- One person, one account — sharing an account or creating multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage in a contest is not permitted
- You may delete your account at any time (see our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data when you do)
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to disrupt, hack, or gain unauthorized access to the platform
- Use automated tools (bots/scripts) to attempt exams on your behalf
- Upload content that infringes anyone’s copyright, is offensive, or is otherwise unlawful
- Impersonate another person
6. Content and copyright
Previous Year Question papers on this platform may originate from official exam bodies or licensed sources. We attribute sourcing where known. If you are a rights-holder and believe content on this platform infringes your rights, contact us at subhangi@gokoo.in and we will review and respond promptly, including removal where warranted.
7. No guarantee of outcomes
This platform is a practice and preparation tool. We do not guarantee any particular exam result, rank, or outcome from using this platform. Your performance depends on many factors beyond what any practice platform can control.
8. Free platform, no paid features
This platform is free for all students, and always will be. Optional donations, if accepted, never unlock features or create a paid tier — every student has access to the same features regardless of whether they donate.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Gokoo Contests and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to exam performance, technical outages, or data loss (though we take reasonable steps, including regular backups, to prevent the latter).
10. Changes to the platform or these terms
We may update these terms, or add/remove features, as the platform develops. We’ll notify registered users of significant changes via email.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
